How to Delete Your Tide Account

Effective Date: May 19, 2026 · Last Updated: May 19, 2026

If you'd like to delete your Tide account and all associated data, you can do so directly from the app. Here's how.

Delete Your Account from the App

  1. Open Tide and tap the Me tab.
  2. In the Account section, tap Delete my account.
  3. A confirmation dialog will appear: "Delete your account?"
  4. Tap Delete account to confirm.

That's it. Your account is immediately deactivated and you're signed out.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, we remove all stored data associated with it:

Body Connections and Tides insights aren't stored separately — they're computed in memory from your logs, so they're gone automatically once the underlying data is removed.

Deletion Timeline

If you email us to request deletion instead of using the in-app flow, we will process the request within 30 days.

Credential Cleanup by Sign-In Method

Tide supports three sign-in methods, and deletion cleans up the right credentials for each:

Future Paid Subscriptions

Tide is free today and there's nothing to cancel. When Tide offers paid subscriptions in the future, please note: deleting your Tide account does not automatically cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription. You will need to cancel the subscription separately through your App Store or Google Play account settings to avoid further charges.

Support Correspondence

If you've emailed us at tide@zenkolabs.com, we retain that support correspondence for up to 90 days after your account is deleted, then delete it.

Before You Delete

A few things to keep in mind:

Having Trouble?

If you can't delete your account from inside the app — the option isn't working, you're locked out, or anything else — reach out and we'll take care of it:

Email: tide@zenkolabs.com

Include the email address associated with your Tide account so we can find it. We will process your deletion request within 30 days.

Why We Made This Easy

Apple and Google both require that you can delete your account and data from inside the app. The in-app flow above satisfies Apple's Guideline 5.1.1(v) and Google Play's equivalent policies. Beyond compliance, we think it's just the right thing to do. Your data is yours, and if you want it gone, it should be gone — no dark patterns, no guilt trips.

If you're leaving, we hope Tide was helpful while you were here.
